A guide to contacts in I Use Joe

When you choose to add a contact we share certain information with your contact on your behalf to enable them to add you to their address book. The type of information we share depends on the type of relationship you have with your contact.

The table below outlines the type of information we share with your contact (and your contact shares with you) based upon the three different types of relationship supported byI Use Joe.

  • All business contact details provided if business releases them
  • Your first name, second name, town and area appear in the business's "customer list". Other information (e.g. email, phone) is NOT shared.
    • P Personal friend
  • All of your friends contact details are shared with you if they approve
  • All of your contact details are shared with your friend
    • B2B Business associate of my business
  • All business contact details provided if business releases them
  • All your business contact details shared with your business associate
